Associate Professor, Dr. Le Khac Cuong was former Editor of Today Knowledge Journal of HCMC Association of Literature and Arts from 1987 to 2008. With 31 years of experience in teaching, he used to hold various positions: lecturer in Literature & Journalism faculty, Deputy Dean of Science Management and International Cooperation department, Dean of Training department, Head of Italian Literature major, Deputy Director of Foreign Language Center, Dean of General Administration Department, Dean of Vietnamese Studies faculty, Dean of Experimental Phonetics Department, Director of tajii Foreign Student Service Center at University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University HCMC).

In 2017, he was a visiting professor of Vietnamese Studies at the University of Paris 7 and INALCO (France). Since 2018, he has been the Dean of School of Social Sciences and International Languages at HIU. He has 7 scientific research projects and 24 scientific articles published in Vietnam and international journals.

Ms. Tran Thuy Tram Quyen has more than 18 years working in the field of media, managing and executing social media projects in the health care industry for southern provinces.

From 0888672676, she held the deputy chief editor position of Health&Life magazine (representative of Vietnam Ministry of Health). She has had 4 years working at Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG) as Director of Marketing and Communications.

Ms. Quyen was awarded Merit of Vietnam Prime Minister in 2015.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong has 30 years of experience in medicine sector. She was an Oral Pathologist at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan. She worked at the HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy and held various positions including lecturer, senior lecturer, Dean of Oral Pathology major, Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Training Department; Chairman of Dentistry faculty's sciences council.

She was awarded the certificate of merit by the Prime Minister in 2018; certificate of merit by the Ministry of Health in 2013 and 2016; "Dedication to education" medal in 2013; typical teacher award by HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2018.

Assoc. Prof. Lam Hoai Phuong graduated from University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City in 1981. She had had many years studying and working overseas, graduated from Tulane University, U.S. (1995) in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery; McGill University, Canada (1996), University of California, Los Angeles, U.S. (1998), Yale University, U.S. (2007). 

She successfully defended her doctoral thesis at University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City 2001, was promoted to Associate Professor in 2007. She has more than 20 years working in Odonto-Stomatology surgery, used to be Director, Dean of Maxillofacial Surgery Department - National Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology Ho Chi Minh City, Head of Maxillofacial Surgery at UMP, Chair of Ho Chi Minh City Society Of Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery.

Meritorious Teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Mai has 52 years teaching and research in Medicine sector. In 1968, she was Dean of the Biochemistry major at Thanh Hoa Medical School; then postgraduate at the Soviet Academy of Medicine; Dean of Biochemistry major at Thai Binh Medical University; Dean of Biochemistry Testing faculty at HCMC Thong Nhat Hospital; Deputy Dean of Biochemistry major, Medicine faculty at HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

She has worked at HIU for 13 years as Dean of Medical Engineering faculty, Dean of Biochemistry major and Dean of Medical Testing faculty. She received a medal for her contribution in education in 2004 and the title of Meritorious Teacher in 2002. 

Associate Professor, Dr. Ha Thi Anh has 10 years working as Dean of Medical Examination major at HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy; 18 years as Dean of Medical Examination Department at University Medical Center HCMC; 11 years as Deputy Dean of Medical Examination faculty at HIU.

She published 9 scientific research projects at Department and School levels and has 18 scientific works published in domestic newspapers and journals.

Ms. Ho Thi Thach Thuy - Master of Science, has 31 years of experience in Pharmacy sector. In 1989, she held the position of Deputy Dean of Pharmacy faculty at the Central Medical College III; then the senior lecturer and Deputy Dean of Secondary Pharmacy major in the Pharmacy faculty at HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

She was awarded the "Dedication to People's Health" medal by the Ministry of Health (2009); the "Dedication to Education" medal by the MoET (2013); the certificate of merit for "Contributions to the university's development" by the HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Ms. Tran Thi Thuan - Master of Science, has 48 years of experience in nursing training sector. In 1972, she was a teacher of the Central Medical College III; then was Dean of Nursing major and nursing expert at HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and Ministry of Health's specialist.

She was awarded a certificate of merit for "Excellence in Vietnam Nursing Development" by the Ministry of Health; certificate of merit for contributing to emulation of HCMC 0888672676 by People's Committee of HCMC; certificate of merit for making positive contributions to Nursing in 2018 and certificate of merit for developing Nursing - Medical Engineering faculty throughout 20 years of establishing HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy (1998-2018).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - Master of Science, has 43 years of teaching and working in medical field. She studied at Medical Pedagogy University, majoring in Physical Therapy (Germany); is a rehabilitation specialist of the Ministry of Health in Southern region; Dean of Physiotherapy faculty at Central Medical College III; Dean of Physiotherapy major, Medical Technology Nursing faculty, lecturer and manager at HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

She is also a member of the Executive Committee of Vietnam Physiotherapy Association and won the title of good teacher at school level for 9 years (0888672676); the title "Emulation Fighter" for 4 years (0888672676) and 5 years (0888672676); received the "Dedication to People's Health" medal in 2002; the "Meritorious Doctor 2010" title from the Prime Minister; certificate of merit from the Ministry of Health in 2009; certificate of merit from HCMC People's Committee; "Dedication to Education" medal in 2014 from the MoET.n 2009; certificate of merit from HCMC People's Committee; "Dedication to Education" medal in 2014 from the MoET.

Mr. Huynh Van Phat completed undergraduate and postgraduated at University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, with an MA degree in Public Health. He already has nearly 15 years lecturing at universities.

He has completed many scientific research projects, including one published in the Vietnam Medical journal (2020). He has been with HIU for 7 years in many positions such as lecturer, head of department and currently Deputy Head of Department of Physiotherapy - Rehabilitation.

 

Dr. Mai Thi Truc Ngan has 38 years of teaching and management experience. She is former lecturer of Accounting - Auditing major, Dean of Student Affairs Department, and Dean of Inspection and Training Department at Banking University. Since 2012, she has held the position of Dean of Finance and Banking faculty - Accounting and Auditing, Deputy Director of Institute of Business & Management and Deputy Dean of Economics, Management, Law faculty cum Dean of Finance - Banking major at HIU.

She received the Dedication to Education" medal in 2001; "Dedication to Vietnam Banking" medal in 2001; the title of "Emulation Fighter" for 10 years from 0888672676; "Emulation Fighter" title of the whole banking sector in 2007; certificate of merit from the Bank Governor in 2004 and 2005; certificate of merit from the Prime Minister in 2007.

Dr. Do Xuan Bien was a member of Enda Vietnam NGO from 0888672676. From 0888672676, he was a lecturer and Deputy Dean of Geography faculty at University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University HCMC). He hosted and participated in 2 scientific research projects at Department level, 1 key project at Vietnam National University HCMC; participated in a community development project and was a member of public awareness consultant team of HCMC environmental improvement project.

He published 3 international articles, including 2 in the SSCI-Q1 list and received the Best Presentation Award at the 2016 Japan Geographic Conference.

He holds a Master’ degree from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, PhD in Food Science - Nutrition and Biomedicine, Hiroshima University, Japan. He has more than 10 years of lecturing at prestigious universities in Vietnam and overseas.

He has 23 international journals (SCI, SCIE, Ranking Q1) 7 domestic articles, attended 9 international workshops, 4 domestic workshops, compiled 2 textbooks. Dr. Tran Van Hung is also a member of Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry, Japan Society of Nutrition and Food Science, The International Society for Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods.

Dr. Tran Lam Vu holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, and PhD in Business Administration at the Philippine National Academy of Science and Technology.

Dr. Tran Lam Vu has 12 years of working in education and used to hold various positions at different colleges and universities such as: Acting Dean of Finance - Banking faculty of Bach Viet college, Deputy Head of Economics Faculty and Business Administration Faculty, Director of Postgraduate Studies - Van Hien University, Deputy Head of Economics Faculty, Management Faculty, and Law Faculty - Hong Bang International University.

He had had years working at companies: CEO - Hoanhao Capital Company Limited, CEO - Dong Thap Football Development Joint Stock Company, Permanent Deputy-CEO of Distribution Division - Hung Hau Holdings.

He graduated with the bachelor's degree from Hong Bang University (2005) and Master of Busiess Administration, Hong Bang International University. He is one of a few students studying, developing, and working at HIU. 

Having 16 years of working with HIU, he has undertaken various positions such as: Deputy-Dean of Korean Studies Faculty; Deputy-Dean of Language and International Culture; Director of Foreign Language center; Chief of Office of Hong Bang International University; Deputy Head of Administration and Human Resource Department at HIU.
