Ever since the full lip craze started, I've secretly been wishing that I had them. I briefly considered fillers, but I was scared off by the idea of looking like a "Real Housewives" cast member. I tired several plumping glosses but I never liked the tingling sensation. Also, the effects were barely noticeable and not long-lasting. When I came across the PMD Kiss Lip Plumping System I figured I'd give it a try and report back to you guys with a totally honest review!

The PMD Kiss is marketed as an "anti-aging, lip plumping treatment"...that (with daily use) will "boost collagen and create long lasting plumped up results".

The PMD Kiss Lip Plumping System comes with the Kiss device, 2 Changeable Plumping Tips (small and large), a USB charger and Lip Plumping Serum.

I was disappointed to see that the Kiss didn't come with a power adapter.

First you apply the Lip Plumping Serum. The consistency and smell is similar to toothpaste, but it's not bad. There wasn't any tingling sensation.

Then, you hold the device against you lips. You're suppose to work in sections- 3 sections on the top lip and 3 on the bottom. The device feels like a tiny vacuum on your lips. It was a little weird, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I did 15 pulses on each section. I was worried that I was going to end up with bruising (aka, a big hickey!) but luckily that didn't happen.

So, the big question is...does it work???

As you can see from the pictures, the PMD Kiss definitely makes your lips fuller. The before and after were both taken with no lipstick or liner. The Lip Plumping Serum is on my lips in the after pic. I should also mention that my lips felt very soft after using the serum and device.

The plumped up effect lasted for about 2 hours, which makes it perfect for a date or party. The website claims that with daily use your lips will be fuller , but I haven't seen that yet.

The PMD Lip Plumping System definitely worked for me, but I'm torn over the price. At $150 (including tax), it seems like a high price to pay for a few hours of moderately plumper lips. That being said, it's still a lot cheaper (and safer) than lip injections!

What do you think? Have you tried the PMD Kiss?
