Shiseido's website says you only need a pearl-sized dollop of this product, but we found that too thin for our entire face; we recommend using 2 pearls' worth for maximum moisture.

Next, we gauged how it felt to use, especially since it was the texture that threw so many reviewers off. So, we applied it to our face and judged its texture and scent, as well as how easy it was to use the bottle.
Its Moist Texture Felt Amazing!
We thought it was a great texture and easy to spread! We were worried that the hyaluronic acid would make it feel heavy--and it did, but only for a second. Then our skin felt refreshingly moisturized.
Many beauty serums have unique scents, but this one is completely unscented. That makes it perfect for those with a really sensitive nose! It does smell a bit like a typical skin care product, but the aroma fades away soon after application.
We also liked its ultra portable and hygienic tube packaging. And it comes with just enough product to make you feel like you're getting your money's worth!

In the end, Senka White Beauty Serum took 4th place in our ranking of 25 whitening serums. It didn't have quite the amount of moisture or convenience required to make it into the top 3, but we think it's a balanced product overall.
This serum is like a soft lotion that spreads smoothly over your face with just one pearl-sized dollop. It moisturizes your skin the moment you put it on and keeps it that way even after 8 hours!
It does feel a bit heavy a few seconds after applying, but that sensation goes away once it absorbs into your skin fully. Our favorite part is that it's smooth enough to use pre-makeup application, so you can use it as part of your morning skin care routine!

Before using this serum, make sure to wash your face thoroughly and prepare your skin for more moisturizing with a face lotion.
Shiseido's website says to use only a pearl-sized amount of product, but if you want to give your skin a little extra hydration or you want to prevent excess friction, use a bit more than the required amount and massage it gently into your skin. We also recommend layering on spots that particularly concern you!
